Greetings and Welcome to the Personal Web Pages of Percival & Christiana, Baron and Baroness of Septentria. Septentria is the Greatest and Oldest of the five baronies within the Kingdom of Ealdormere in the Society for Creative Anachronsim. This web site contains information pertaining to us and our tenure on the High Seats of Septentria and is in no way an official SCA web page. We are Percival de la Rocque (6th Baron) and Christiana Macnamara (7th Baroness), Ursine Excellencies of Septentria. We are Husband and Wife and have been active in the SCA for a little over 10 years now. Both of us have served in various ways within the society at the Local, Baronial and Kingdom levels culminating in our recent rise to the High Seats of Septentria. Our persona are of a basic Celtic 13th/14th century era (Christiana is Irish and Percival is a transplanted Chanel Islander living in the Highlands of Scotland). Our tenure on the High Seats shall be run with a celtic flavour to it and many of the things we do will have this celtic tilt.

In this vein we have adopted the Celtic Bear (seen on this page and other places on this site) as a symbol of our tenure upon the high seats. This is in no way intended to replace the Great White Bear of Septentria in any official way but will simply be our Mark, used on personal items and garb and to mark favours and other items we will be using throughout our times on the Ursine Thrones. The populace are welcomed to make use of this Celtic Bear on their personal property or garb should they wish but it must never be used to replace or change any official Septentrian Symbols, Heraldry, Badges or markings. Should anyone wish to use these Celtic Bears there is a link to GIF images of these on the bottom of the Whims area of this site, please make use of them as you see fit with the above mentioned restrictions.
